My Athens Part I and II : "My Athens Project" is a compilation of stories written by the children that live at shelters run by The HOME Project in the Greek capital. The idea for the project came about in the context of the international nonprofit organization's mission to integrate unaccompanied refugee children and young adults into Greek society. It is the result of a joint effort of staff and volunteers who enabled the youngsters to express themselves and share their views about the city they live in, in a bid to encourage them to develop a feeling of belonging”
