Maria Kaldani
Chief Operating Officer
Maria Kaldani is the Chief Operating Officer of The HOME Project. Previously, she was the Head of the Child Protection Unit. She has been a Social Worker working with refugees since 2004 in accommodation and integration projects. She has been working in the social department of the Greek Council for Refugees (2004-2006) and was the Project Manager for European-funded refugee projects at ARSIS Association for the Social Support of Youth (2007-2017).
She has been a member of the UNHCR working groups since 2008. She has been trained in the design, implementation, and evaluation of humanitarian programs, monitoring "Children’s Rights" and "Sexual and Gender-Based Violence" prevention in the EU Reception & Asylum Sector.
